Strong for everyone, running on empty

You've held everything together for years: the diagnosis, the therapies, the school meetings and your career. It's working for everyone except you.

Work-life balance buckles under a diagnosis. It was never a scheduling problem. It's an identity problem.

Identity precedes assignment.Genesis 1:27–28
  • You lead at work and at home. You're capable and driven, and you've been your child's advocate for years.
  • The plan lives in your head.Schools, therapies and backup plans all run through you, and there's rarely a real backup.
  • You've lost track of yourself.Your energy is low, and the next ten years bring up more worry than hope.
  • This is built for moms like you.Professional women who are a few years into raising a child with autism.

Why I do this work

Dr. Hermena Cerphy Firmin

“I am a follower of Christ, mom of 3, and clinical leader.”

Hermena, in her own words

I know what it's like to be the one everyone counts on. I'm a mom of three, and for more than a decade I've worked as a physician and a leader in medicine. At work and at home, I'm used to holding a lot.

I started Path2Wholeness for moms raising a child with autism: capable women carrying their child's diagnosis and future mostly on their own, who have lost track of themselves along the way.

Through my CREST framework, I help you build a clear plan for your child's future while you reconnect with your own spiritual and personal goals. You don't have to give up what matters most to grow.

My faith is at the center of how I coach, and we always start right where you are.

The CREST framework

Five parts of your life that get lost when you're raising a child with autism. We look at them together, one at a time, starting where you need it most.

  1. Clarity

See where your life really is right now, including the hard parts.

  2. Reclaiming Identity

Remember who you are beyond your work and your role as advocate.

  3. Establishing Structures

Build support so everything doesn't have to go through you.

  4. Stabilizing Energy

Keep up what restores you, even in hard weeks.

  5. Thriving with Direction

Plan a hopeful path for your child and for yourself.

Five honest questions, about three minutes. Your results show right away.
